About me
Meghan is an Inclusive Education Lead and School Counsellor, and Student Services Department Head at Memorial Composite High School with Parkland School Division. She is also the co-chair of her ATA Local's PD Committee and the Vice President for the ATA Council of School Counsellors Specialist Council. Meghan has her Master's of Education, in Inclusive Education and Neuroscience, and a focus on Trauma-Informed Schools.
Meghan has been in Education for almost 30 years, with a variety of roles and experiences, from classroom teacher and school based support to multiple roles at a division office level and a secondment with Alberta Education.
Passionate about professional development, Meghan has been delivering PD for schools and divisions for almost 20 years, including at a provincial level, previously with Alberta Education, as well as in the continuing education and non-profit sector as a consultant. Meghan also joined the ATA Association Instructor Corps in 2023, developing and delivering workshops across Alberta.
